Overview
A milled copper ½ Penny merchant token from Ireland, known as the Wicklow - Cronebane / Miners Arms token. Produced between 1787 and 1797 as emergency coinage. The obverse features a bishop's head and crosier, while the reverse shows a shield of arms and a windlass crest. This variant features the edge inscription: 'PAYABLE AT LONDON LIVERPOOL OR BRISTOL'
